Patients can order prescriptions online after signing up for online services.
If you require a repeat prescription please return the right hand side of your most recent prescription with the items you require clearly marked. If you have lost this please fill in one of the slips provided in the entrance the main reception.
Alternatively your prescription can be requested by fax (01484 487093) or by post.
If you have not required medication for some time the doctor may require you to make an appointment before prescribing the medication. Also after a number of repeat prescriptions you will be asked to attend for a medication review, which would be either with a doctor or nurse.
It is possible, where medication has not been changed for sometime and if both doctor and pharmacist agree between medication reviews, that repeat prescriptions can be automatically delivered to the pharmacy. You would then only have to call in and pick up your medication from the pharmacy itself. This would mean you would not have to contact the surgery to ask for the repeat prescription to be prepared.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and ready for collection and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
